I've used them in rental cars, but mainly they get on my nerves. I won't go out specifically looking for one in our second car, but if it comes with it I won't rely on it. I get annoyed because I'm usually plugging in the GPS destination when Wagon Sr. puts the car in reverse, and the camera takes over the GPS screen. Haha.</p> <p>When I'm driving I do not rely on it at all. I don't trust it! If I'm parking or pulling out of a spot and I have to get super close to another car I'll use it then. I don't rely on mine alone, I still use my mirrors and do my other checks, but it's definitely worth it for peace of mind. It's nice to have an extra set of "eyes" to help but in the truck, I'm very cautious. I walk around the vehicle before getting in to make sure nothing is in the way but it still makes me nervous. I didn't go out looking for it, but it's really helpful because it can sort of see around corners, so I can actually see better if cars are approaching in a parking lot.
