We're near a huge pond so we have a big mosquito problem too! We also have lots of ticks due to all the deer in the area, and our dogs get ticks all the time even though they're not outdoor dogs (and one got lyme disease last year) so we like to do our own spraying. You just need to buy the sprayer and the super concentrated bifen. Toxic while wet but once it dries it's totally safe.
