I think for the more premium ones you can fetch a bit more. I do sell on other sites. I think it's worth it to sell your stuff especially if you are not using it.</p> <p>I seem to run into the "priced so low.... what is wrong with it?" and usually when I adjust my price higher it sells better. Sometimes putting shipping into the price and saying "free shipping" works. Compared to going through ThredUp, which is the online consignment store I have used, I usually can earn more through HB, and the plus side is it's going to someone I "know". However, ThredUp's payout gets much better for more premium items, and the shipping is free (as much as you can stuff in the bag) so it ends up being better in that situation. I think eBay may actually be the way to go to truly earn the "most" for an item, but it's a little scary and overwhelming for me, and I'm not really doing it for the money. But I am pretty motivated to sell my stuff so I usually price as low as I can and factor in the fact that the buyer has to pay shipping. I usually think that used items should retail for about 50% of what was originally paid (as long as it was new), unless it's in exceptional condition or not so good condition.
