@SweetCaroline: @shabang: I think I used them on the small plastic bottles because the pump parts out weighed them empty

@Sams Mom: Ah, thank you!

I've pumped at work for over 2 years with 3 kids and never knew about these or needed them.

@shabang: same. Had no idea what these were! Now that I know, I never had a need for these and I pumped for 9 months at work.

@shabang: that is amazing! But it's the little "feet" you put on your bottles so they don't tip.

I don't even know what bottle stands are. Google brings this back, but I'm certain that's not what we're talking about.

@Mrsbells: Evenflo glass bottles are compatible to Medela pumps without an adapter.

@Mrsbells: I love them! I could put them on the bottle jets in my dishwasher on sanitize steam clean, and didn't have to worry about the discolored cloudy look plastic gets.

@Sams Mom: Oh that sounds cool I didnt even realize Avent had glass bottles!

@kiddosc: Good point its usually when they are empty that they are the most likely to tip.

I bought medela to avent bottle adapters and pumped into the 9 oz glass bottles (I only pumped one side at a time though so didn't have to worry about all the weight hanging off of a hands free bra). They were heavy enough that I never had any tipping problems.

I never had any problems with the bottles tipping once they had liquid in them. As little as an ounce was enough to stabilize them.

Do you take bottle stands with you to work? I am back at work now and have been debating whether I should buy an extra pair. I have the medela sonata pump which is a bit top heavy and I keep thinking the bottles will tip over. But on the other hand I wonder if I really need it. I wonder if I should carry my stands from home with me each day or buy another set since I have two sets of pumping parts.
