Yes, DD either sleeps in or takes a super long nap to catch up on her sleep.

Hell to the no.

My son is always up by 630. Sometimes he wakes up at 7, but not often.

He goes to bed sometime between 7-8. It drives me crazy because DH knows that he always wakes up at the same time even when we put him to bed later, but he still argues with me when I want to put him to bed closer to 7 if he's tired.

No, she actually wakes up earlier? My SIL does not understand why I'm so strict about her bedtime on the weekends, but without fail she wakes up at 5:30 if she goes to bed later than 8 pm :(

A little bit, but never the same amount of time to even out. If she were to stay up until 10 pm (1 1/2 hours later than normal) we might get another 45 minutes is all in the morning.

I don't think there's much of a correlation between when she goes to bed and when she wakes up...even if she goes to bed at exactly the same time several nights in a row wake up could be anywhere from 7-9 am lol!

My LOs never, ever did this until recently. I would say over the last 4-5 weeks, my girls have started sleeping in later if we put them to bed later.

Tonight, my 31-month old didn't fall asleep until 9:30 (it took 1.5 hours for her to fall asleep), and she will probably sleep until 9 tomorrow.
