The reason I ask is that we have planned to use Arie for a BOY for years (not preg right now). It was DHs grandpas name when he lived in Holland (it's a dutch name) but when he moved to Canada it was too "weird" (this was 60 years ago) so he changed it to Harry. We have loved the name Arie/Ari but the dutch spelling and his grandpas selling is Arie. And like @ms.janedoe and @chopsuey119 mentioned, it was the dudes name on the bachelorette.. and he was dutch! haha. I'd hate for our future son to have a feminine name, but I feel like when it is said it sounds masculine.
