Our bathroom is connected to our bedroom and I can see her from the shower. I just shut the bedroom door.</p> <p>I have tried to start getting up and showering before she's awake more often because of another thread that mentioned behavior being worse when TV is the first thing they do in the morning. I loved our morning routine of TV/breakfast appetizer for her and shower for me but holding off on TV until the afternoon made a significant difference in behavior. Boooooo. We still do it sometimes though.</p> <p>Oh, and the first successful poop in the potty was with her sitting there reading a book while I was showering. So sometimes we do that! But, If it's just the older one (26 months) she gets the ipad and usually watches peppa. The rare time it's both, the older one goes on the bed with the ipad and I let the younger one ( 8 months) just crawl around my bedroom with a few toys out. I use the ensuite bathroom so I can see her motoring around. When sitting but not scooting/crawling I just put her on a blanket in the bathroom floor. Now she hangs out in the PnP that I scoot up to the bathroom doorway and plays with toys I only keep in there. I only have to do this a couple times per week though. I usually still shower at nap or after bedtime, but if I want to shower in the morning and can't squeeze it in before DH leaves for work, I finally feel comfortable doing so. Their rooms are on that floor, as is ours, so there is plenty to keep them entertained.
