I did CIO with G when we has just about 4 months. I always had to retrain him after sickness &/or travel until he was preschool age. The worst occurrence was when we went out of state when he was about 2 1/2 and for the whole week we were there he refused to fall asleep before 2 AND I had to be laying with him, and he couldn't nap on his own either. I was always very structured with our schedule but being in the new place just threw him for a loop. It did get better when we got back home but I also had to do some retraining. =/

We did CIO with LO at 4.5 months, and weaned her off of night feeds at around 8.5 months.

Ever since we got back from visiting my parents, her night sleep hasn't been so great. She just cut two lower teeth and has been sick the last couple of days. She was waking up twice a night when teething, but now is only waking up once...but at 4:30am!!

We are going on vacation tomorrow, but i'm wondering if we should re-train her when we get back? Any thoughts? Did anyone else go through this?
