I could fit 2 of the large bags in one tote. When the tote gets too full I dig in and give a bunch away again. It's worked so far because as the kids get older their clothes are mostly so used up that I wouldn't want to keep them anyway, except for a few special items :). I know for us we'll still buy/receive a few pieces no matter how much we save, so I have a lot easier time donating.
