I have no idea how I didn't fail. I never "got it". I live in Canada, and to get in to many of the Universities for Business, you need two math credits. So I took calculus and data management. DM is very similar to stats! Once I got to Calculus in HS I felt in over my head. I had a nice teacher and I asked her for help after school whenever we had a lesson I didn't really get. On one of my tests, at the end of the problem I wrote "this is how my dad taught me to do it." I don't know why but I couldn't grasp the concepts for the life of me. I asked the teacher for help and I had a friend tutor me and help me study for the exam. I still only came out with a C in the course...but that was my lowest mark ever!!! I had to take physics in university and worked my ass off and got an A!
