I did it for a number of reasons, but I have to say that she adjusted SO WELL! I was an emotional wreck up to the day I dropped her off, but she's doing better now than she was at the other place. I was shocked at how well it went. There were tears the first day at drop off, but she stopped crying with in 2 minutes (we watched through the door). She was a little clingy at drop off the first week, but otherwise no issues at all. I moved DS 1st - he was almost 3.5 - to get him acclimated to the new school before his sister started.</p> <p>He did amazingly well!! I have to credit his teacher though who was super awesome with him! I'm not too worried. The center is allowing us to do an easy transition, giving her half days there on two Friday's before her transition. She will be ~30m when #2 is ready for daycare.</p> <p>There's a whole list of reasons why or why not. But one of my primary concerns is now that she's older how she will react being at a new place. At her current daycare she has friends. Her teachers love her. I know she is SAFE.</p> <p>I know she will eventually acclimate to the new place but it seems to be such a dramatic change to her life. And the unknowns of a new place scare me.</p> <p>Has anyone switched their toddler to another daycare? How did it go? </p>
