I didn't consult with our GP as I didn't think it necessary, particularly as we're only visiting the UK and US on this trip. Now if we were traveling somewhere less developed, yes, I'd probably discuss it. But we went to Indonesia when she was 2 and she had to get anti-malaria and one of the hepatitis vaccines. I would definitely consult with the pedi if we were going out of the country, unless maybe if it were Canada! I'll probably talk to the ped anyway, just curious if others did and where you went.
