Depending on how long he is gone, he may take a day off during the week once he's back, or just work 6-7 days straight. </p> <p>In two weeks he is leaving at 5 a.m. on a Sunday, and won't be back for 14 days. Of the 14 days, he'll have just 1 day off, max 2, but one he is back, he'll take an extra week day off to help balance it all out. </p> <p>Depending on your state, there should be labor laws in place. I bill from when I arrive at the airport to when I arrive at my destination. The whole time you are enroute to your destination is chargeable for us. So I might get to take Friday if I had to "work" on a Sunday. It's called a non-standard work week here.
