So I dunno.</p> <p>I agree with @Leialou: that it might not be as exciting/nerve-racking if I knew that we'd end up together. Our first date was amazing because of the unknown. The day we met we spent the whole day together, and the next day. It wasn't our first date because we were surrounded by other people and were at my mom's house. See, we were filming an independent film in my home town and he was cast to play my boyfriend after another guy dropped out. So while other scenese were being shot we would be together just talking about everything. We didn't start officially dating until two months later after I almost ruined everything because he couldn't get a read on how much I liked him.</p> <p>I don't remember what our first true date was anymore because those first couple of days stick out so much in my head. My mom and BFF told me that the second we laid eyes on each other they saw a spark. We went to a restaurant on the beach. We wanted a specific restaurant but it was spring break and super crowded so we ended up at a crappy one. Then we took a walk on the pier, they have all sorts of street performers and people selling crafts and jewelry. </p> <p>It was a great, but I felt like I was getting a friend vibe from him. I even called my sister up and told her I wasn't sure if it was a date. She asked me if he paid (yes), how we ended the date (hug and kiss on the cheek), and if we set up another date (yes, for that weekend). It reminds me of one of my favorite movies, Groundhog Day. The guy gets to repeat his day over and over again and finally gets his girl in a perfect way! </p> <p>Our first date was a non-date but we were alone together, well--in public. It was simple, unassuming and sweet.<br /> Spontaneous romance was not on his agenda....we really had to build up to it through time and friendship. I honestly don't know if I could recreate that magic. It would be pretty fun to try, but then what if I failed? We would never get married and have our kids.
