@oliviaoblivia: I'm having that problem with the OPK this time around. With LO's timing, I always got super clear positives. This time, I'm not getting dark positive OPKs. When they look close to positive, we go for it.

Also, especially if you're using a secondary method, I wouldn't be too concerned with the second line HAVING to be darker than the control.

Mine rarely are, but I'll get smiley faces on digitals anyway. As long as they're close, I go with it.

I would test every day leading up to ovulation, and then once I had a good idea of when I was ovulating every month I would test multiple times on the 2 days leading up, just to make sure I caught it!

I only got true positives in the afternoon. Though with this pregnancy I forgot to test and never got a positive opk. Guess I O'ed though! Can't wait for A to be a big brother! :goodluck:

Usually twice a day with the wondfos. With my first pregnancy I used the digitals one cycle and never got a positive. Next cycle used the wondfos, got a positive, and then a couple weeks later got a positive pregnancy test.

I tested 3x a day when I thought O was near. My surge was really short

I used cheap wondfos and waited until i had other signs (cm). I mostly used them to confirm, so i only needed to test 2-3 days. I tested twice a day, but only because there were so many in the box and i could haha :) once a day would have been enough i think.

I tested 3 times a day, just because I was new at them and wasn't sure how long my surge would be. I tested with FMU, around noon, and again around 8 p.m.

I didn't need to test that much though because I ended up having two days of positive OPKs, so testing once or twice a day definitely would have caught my surge for me.

I test in the AM and PM (when I get home from work). I tend to first see the positive in PM

I sort of do the opposite of you. I use OPKs and then as backup test with the CBE digitals (the non advanced ones) to confirm

How often or when did you test?

I'm using the CBFM monitor daily in the morning with FMU, but using the OPKs as a back-up. Are there really differences that take affect for you to test twice in one day?

What was your wondfo OPK routine?
