When I went to the hospital, they gave me those mesh panties and a gigantic pad to wear. My water was broken late in my labor for an amniotic fluid reinfusion, so it was intact for most of it. I labored at home for 9 hours and kept feeling stuff semi-gushing out, so I kept going to the bathroom like all the time.... my water never broke though, they broke it in the hospital.
