I would rather pay more somewhere else than get a deal and have crappy service!!! My husband is so good about this though. So it's hard for me to buy near home when the service is crappy (same deal with our MAC store--I drive out of my way to not give them money). I would definitely not buy something high ticket like a car from someone rude! Sometimes I will tell the clerks why I did not make a purchase and what they should have done instead. Example a shoe guy at Dillard's totally irritated me by not bringing out all the shoes I asked for (he forgot) and at one point he brought me a smaller size shoe because my size was sold out. It's tiny, the manager is obnoxious and the other chick who works there is not helpful at all. Last night I went in hoping to buy a shirt but they didn't have the right size/color. I asked the girl working if the one up high on a mannequin was a small; she said no. This morning I went back in for a peek and asked if they had the size/color I wanted, which the manager immediately pulled off the mannequin...I would have bought it yesterday and specifically asked about that, argh! But now I'm torn on color again since I didn't think the original choice was an option. I asked a question about a promotion and she (the manager) was rude about it, then tried to sell me other things instead (you're shopping for shirts? how about bras instead?) and I got annoyed and left. I have been in 3 times this week hoping to buy something, but either they're not smart at all (likely true) or they don't want my money! So I drove through McDonald's and spent $$ there instead. I hate crappy salespeople! I think it especially annoys me because I worked in retail for so long. </p>
