I ended up wearing her (and snacking before I left just in case!). She did great. So proud of my city baby. The bus pretty much put her to sleep then I ate over her in the carrier and while she was nursing. It would have been easier while there to have a stroller but the trip was a lot easier. There were two women on the bus home with big strollers and it was a pain for everyone. I always liked the idea of wearing LO to my class, but it was easier to bring the stroller and snap and go at that age so that I could eat hands free--it took me a while to be super comfortable wearing baby, especially for so long! She will sleep in the carrier in restaurant noise though, usually. If she wakes and gets squirmy I take her out and hold her. It was a bit tougher if she woke up at your LOs age because she was harder to entertain, but nursing would always work. Before she was mobile, I'd just either keep her in the carrier the whole time or take her out and hold her. For travel wearing her in the moby seems the easiest. But if I'm meeting people for lunch before, I guess I just can't put her down at all if I don't have the car seat with me? (She's 7 weeks, too young for a high chair or anything). </p> <p>Taking the car seat and snap and go on the bus seems more daunting but then there is somewhere for her to sit. Or I can drive but parking is difficult and expensive so trying to avoid that. Gah. Decisions. </p>
