My middle child experience may have been close to an eldest child experience, though, because my parents entrusted me with more than my older brother, and people who meet us always assume I'm the eldest because of the way my brother carries himself (I've been telling him for about 10 years that he's XXage going on 16). Even though my younger brothers got away with a lot more stuff and had less responsibilities--they are not as mature at 24 as I was. However, my parents were so much more lenient with my little sister than with me. We were just talking about that a few days ago...my parents were so strict when I was in high school, but 3 years later with my sister they were wayyy less strict. So that part would be nice to be the youngest, but overall, I like being the oldest. I think being the oldest is way harder than being the youngest. I'm an oldest and if I were born again, I'd want to come back as a youngest! What about you?
