Would you mind spending more?</p> <p>I'm sure you could figure out a way to do London/Paris/Italy on $1600 for a week (I'm allowing $1400 for 2 air tickets) if thats what you wanted to do. That works out to $228/day. We stayed in some great B&amp;Bs in Italy and they were around 80-100 euro a night. That leaves you with around $100/day for food/entertainment.... you can eat really well for $100/day! We just went last year for 10 days and it was about 4k, including about $600 for the hiking tour to Machu Picchu. If you're not in to that and take the train, you could be pretty close to the 3k budget.<br /> Iceland is next on my list and looks amazingly beautiful! But I have no idea what that cost. DH keeps talking about Cayman Islands or Barbados, but I am still feeling out what's out there. We've been to a number of Caribbean islands and want to go somewhere I haven't been. Unfortunately for us it's way cheaper to travel from the US to other places (we are in Canada), and from one place in Europe to another, and we'll probably be going away around October/November.</p> <p>If you were given a voucher of that value, where would you go? </p>
