I am currently reading "Living History" (no idea what took me so long) and it sounds like they genuinely do have a really special relationship.</p> <p>I also look at my own parent's relationship. My dad cheated and my mom tried very hard to make thinks work (forgiveness, counseling, etc.) but he simply didn't want to stay in the marriage. I have a ton of respect for my mom given that she truly believed in her vows and did her best to make a go of things for our family. I truly believe it's not for us to judge women in this position.
