When I went, I had to fill out a multi page application (can't remember exactly how many pages) that went into great detail about all of my immediate family members (mom, dad, siblings, spouse, children) and their education and work history, not to mention all of my history and my complete travel history, including every country I'd ever been to, the purpose for the trip, and the dates. It was a humongous pain in the ass!</p> <p>Now for all of my non-American travel companions, their visa application consisted of: name, DOB, nationality, passport number, dates travelling. The end. Argh.....
