I always felt bad for these guys. Imagine eternity spent as a clock! The ticking alone would mean you would never get a good night's sleep. There were some other servants too (help me out here): the wardrobe, the footstool, the stove and the featherduster. If you were cursed and transformed into a piece of a household object in a castle, what would you be? I would choose to be a candelabra, so that I could read at night. I'm guessing there would be no internet in the Beast's castle.
