I am home 3 days a week providing online therapy to my students. Two days a week I am continuing essential services for adults in their homes and in long term care. DH is a teacher and is home with the kids. He's still out on site at businesses measuring square footage and putting together quotes for professional cleaning. </p> <p>They also offer services for sanitizing after positive cases have been found, and the price is like 10x what they normally charge. He's crazy busy right now as every business wants a professional cleaning as they prepare to re-open. I am marketing/graphic design/photographer for a heavy equipment sales company. Construction is deemed essential so since we support the construction industry we are essential. And super busy lately too. Normal 8-5 M-Fr schedule but some of our shop guys are on overtime. We have around 20 employees and all have our own spaces, I try to disinfect door handles, etc. daily. We also only have 3 cases in our county now, so not super worried.</p> <p>Dh works road maintenance, usually sees one other guy daily, and they have changed their schedules 15 min. either way so they don't see each other. I work for a subcontractor in new home construction. In my state, construction was deemed essential. I didn’t want to abandon my patients or coworkers. There was supposed to be funding for a part time NP in the spring at the (affiliated) cancer center closer to my house (they were going to create the job for me) but now I’m worried that with the census so low recently, that won’t happen. So maybe I’ll be a SAHM for a while 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️<br /> Like normally my attending would see 8 new patients per week but now seeing 0-1 per week. And sadly with how sick GI cancer patients are, we’ve had lots pass away in the last two months (not covid related). Anyway, sure that’s going on everywhere with surgeries, colonoscopy and routine radiology all delayed. At the nuclear plant where my husband works the essential staff that needs to be at the plant can't leave the premises! The brought in RVs for them all to stay in.
