I also felt compelled to be doing laundry and cleaning. When I go back to work after my mat leave I'm going to stay home two days a week. I'll try to devote one day to paperwork and one day to household chores......all while taking care of LO. I do feel the pressure to keep things clean and I'm generally pretty good at it. But being 33 weeks pregnant and working and taking care of DS, it has become too much. I did at first, until I realized (and made my husband realize) I AM working. Just because I work from home doesn't mean I'm a stay at home wife. So long as I'm getting paid a full time salary, I will not feel badly about expecting my husband to do an equal share of the housework. (That being said, I DO end up doing more just because I'm around, but weeks when I am overwhelmed and things get messy...
