The trick is to not think about it. It helps to have cloths laid out cause that leaves less opportunity time to back out. But once start, or leave the house, you'll just follow through with it. I definitely don't stay up late, so that probably helps. But, getting into a routine makes it easier.

I've been thinking about this too. Getting up an extra 45 min early to do a workout video or something. It's just SO hard especially when DS doesn't sleep well. I think like @blackbird said, you just have to drag your ass out of bed and do it

I used to get up at or before 5am to work out....I'd pound a caffeinated drink en route to the gym (like Spark or a pre work out). I used to go to bed fairly early--8:30 or 9pm. It wasn't something I would do unless the kid(s) were/are STTN, though. I haven't done it in a long time. I would set all my clothes in the bathroom, change and walk right out the door. There's no trick. you just have to drag your ass there

I'm in the same boat! I do not want to infringe on evening free time at all; by the time we're done cleaning up, we only have a little bit of time to relax/spend with each other.

But I don't think I'm well rested enough to wake up early to exercise either! DD wakes up by 7 the latest so I'd have to be up by like 5:30 if I want to exercise and shower... That is just crazy to me!

I am too tired in the evening to workout, but I really want to start exercising more. I think working out in the morning would be a good option, but I'm really not a morning person. Plus, my kids don't always sleep well, so then I don't sleep well either and am tired the next day.

If you are a morning workout person, how do you do it? Do you go to sleep really early the night before? What is your motivation to get out of bed in the morning? Any tips for me?
