This year they're taking us to Vegas but absolutely refuse to give me any ideas about what they want. For the siblings I started a name draw. It was getting to be too much buy for each sibling and wives/husbands/girlfriends/boyfriends. So each year after Halloween I draw names and email out a list to all the siblings/spouses. Each person buys a gift for one other person. So between my hd and I we buy for 2 other people. I make sure it rotates every year. It's works out well, we have done this for the fifth year in a row and everyone loves it! We can actually afford to get the person a nice gift instead of small gifts for everyone! It has worked out well, but last year everyone bought something little for all the kids (4 then, now 5), except us! When my brother's kids were younger, I would buy them a membership to the zoo or something like that. This is the first Christmas for my sister's twins, so we are doing individual gifts, but might do a family gift when they are a bit older.</p> <p>DH has 7 (!) brothers and sisters and we typically do individual gifts if we travel there. If we don't travel, then we have typically only done gifts for his parents and the children. Until this year though, only 2 of them have had kids or been married, so it hasn't been out of hand.
