My kid hated the car and a friend suggested putting a bunch of binkys in my cup holder as well as a bottle of gripe water. I would dunk a binky in the gripe water and give it to him. The taste would keep him sucking and would also soothe his belly (he had very bad reflux as well as reactive airway disease from RSV) Once he spit that out, I would just dunk a new one and repeat until we got to our destination. She fell asleep in the car seat today!<br /> Initially I didn’t think I could recline it all the way in my car but. I tried again and was able to. I finally found a chiropractor when he was 5 months old that pretty much cured him. He was the same as yours, screamed non stop in the car seat. Whenever I complained that he didn’t sleep people would tell me to just drive him around. HA. Within two visits to this chiropractor, he was like a different baby. We have a marathon clicktight that seems to have a lot of settings but sure you could research that online. We had another seat before where I could never get the recline right in my car and I switched it. If the angle is the issue part of it depends on your car also. </p> <p>I’m so sorry it’s still an issue. She screams from the moment she is put in it</p> <p>I just got her a new Chico next fit convertible thinking that would help - she was in the Britax infant seat before. But it actually seems to be worse....</p> <p>She also has silent reflux and an airway disorder so I know positioning is a big issue that could be making her uncomfortable. </p> <p>Any tricks that worked for you? Any specific car seat that might be a better fit ? </p>
