YES. She is up at 6 or 7 every morning and down by 9 for first nap. This continues in 2 hour cycles, like you all day! Yesterday, she was fussy after a half hour nap so we took her for a walk. Came back into the house and I (shame) put her in her swing. We got an hour and a half to do things around the house!! :)

@winniebee: That is a lot! Today will either be like 2 because he's home with my husband or a lot because he's getting shots!

I'd say we're exactly the same. He naps 30-45 mins every 1.5-2 hours. From wake up to bedtime it's usually 3 or 4 naps.

My LO refuses to nap for longer than 45 minutes. He takes 3 of those each day (1 morning, 2 afternoon) and then sometimes he needs a shorter 20 minute nap in the early evening as he refuses to fall asleep before 8:30PM! I've been thinking about trying to see if he can go for a longer awake period in the afternoon (3 hours) and then try putting him down for a long nap but I'm afraid it'll backfire. I'm waiting until his 4 month well check in a couple weeks to talk to his doctor more about it.

Yes, that was the story of my life for my son's first year. In the early months, he'd take 5 naps a day on some days.

Do they just take a lot of naps? My LO's max awake time is 1:45 or 2 hours MAX and these days he only takes 30 minute naps. So, doing the math......he takes a lot of naps. Is it the same for you?

FWIW I have lately been putting him down drowsy but awake, letting him fuss (so he falls asleep on his own) and he still only naps 30 minutes. Bah.
