LO currently gets early snack at 8:45 and we eat a full, healthy breakfast at home at 7:15. </p> <p>She will get breakfast at her new center when she arrives at 8:00. Her morning meal at home falls somewhere between "snack" and "real breakfast". She seriously has food with her all day long. She wakes up and asks for food right away :meh:<br /> Sooo, she wakes half an hour before we leave, and she eats an apple while I change her diaper and change/feed baby sis. Then she eats something in the car (granola bar, almonds, cheerios, etc). We have to provide breakfast and it is a 1-2 min drive. She usually wakes up right before we need to leave. He is a very slow eater too. My son wakes up half an hour before we need to leave the house, and he's a slow eater so if he ate at home, I'd be at least half an hour late for work every day. We try to eat before he wakes up, but if we are too slow and he's up before we're done, he wants to join in and it usually ends in tears. I don't think he'd appreciate being woken earlier to eat... I tried to give him a small snack a few times, but usually he wants seconds and either I'm late because he gets seconds, or he's crying because he doesn't. I feel really bad for him, but don't really know what to do. Just wondering how others handle this! </p>
