Full breakfast at home. My son goes to preschool at 8:30 (twice per week), but typically he wakes up at 6:30-7, so he has time for a full breakfast. Typically some type of carb (waffles/pancakes/french toast/bagels), protein, and a fruit with milk.

full breakfast - scrambled eggs and fruit, or oatmeal with fruit, or waffles and fruit. Scrambled eggs only take 1 minute in the microwave. He gets up, we change him and feed him breakfast. My husband starts eating his breakfast with him while I get ready, and then I eat my breakfast with him while DH finishes getting ready. It works pretty well...for now - LO #2 arrives in 6 weeks, eek!

Full breakfast: yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs.
She used to not eat until she got to daycare, but she started demanding food the minute she opened her eyes... haha
We finally have it settled so DH wakes her up at 6:15 and takes her downstairs and makes/gives her breakfast. I'm downstairs with K by 6:30 so DH can leave for work and L eats while I feed K. L and K are done eating by 7 and I get both girls ready and out the door by 7:30

i voted full breakfast but i should have done quick breakfast. we used to do cereal/waffle plus fruit. now we just do a bowl of oatmeal, no fruit. he gets another breakfast at daycare. but we only have 1 right now, and it's daycare so we don't *have* to be there at a specific time, like at school.

D gets a small breakfast at home (usually a bowl of cereal, oatmeal, or a waffle with peanut butter). Then he also eats breakfast at daycare (typically something similar). It's not the healthiest start to the day, but I certainly don't have time to be making him a full breakfast at home.

It depends. If I don't have a 8am meeting, I'll feed him breakfast here before I take him. If I have an early morning meeting I drop him off with a banana, cereal or yogurt and he eats it there. Sometimes we skip it all together. oops!

LO eats a full breakfast in her highchair before daycare 2 days per week. They don't feed them breakfast there and she is better behaved with a full belly.

Lately on days that my mom watches her, I have been giving her a pouch and then my mom makes her breakfast. That has been working out really nicely! I like not having to clean up! :)

We do scrambled eggs pretty much every morning and a banana or fruit. Sometimes some other stuff, but that's the staple. They sit and eat at home. If we are rushed, we pack it up and they feed it to them at daycare. They can have cereal at daycare (which the daycare provides) but I like for them to have some protein!

We do a full breakfast at home. We get him up around 6:00 (he's usually awake because he can hear us moving around anyways), and give an easy, but full, breakfast - usually scrambled eggs, toast or waffle with peanut butter, fruit, cheese, that sort of thing. It takes him about 30 minutes to eat, then we get him dressed and we're out the door by 6:50!

I don't know if ours counts as a full breakfast or a quick one, but we give her oatmeal and fruit most mornings. Either DH or I will sit and eat with her while the other gets ready. She gets up between 6:30 and 7:30 and we are all usually out the door by 8:20.

I namnied for a little girl that was in preschool a couple days a week. I'm not sure what to call her breakfasts though. She usually are a quick granola baror some yogurt, and that's it. But that's all she ate for a normal day's breakfast (I would have cooked but she rarely was interested) so not sure if you'd list that as full or quick. I had at least an hour from the time she got up to when she had to be there, and it was a less than 5 minute drive. I also have no idea when they had snacks. I had to bring them for the class like once a month? But don't know when they ate them, and since parents brought them they varied a lot.

We do quick breakfasts. H gets up 30 minutes before R so I give H her breakfast in the kitchen. DH does breakfast with R - he'll make her a smoothie and a waffle and she'll sit in her bedroom at her table) and eat while DH gets dressed for work.

It only works this way because H and I get up and leave before DH and R.

DH gets LO up and fed while I shower and get dressed. Sometimes he makes her eggs/bacon, but most of the time she has cereal (or a cereal bar), milk and fresh fruit. Sometimes I make almond butter banana bread or some other homemade bread which is higher in calories and protein, which lasts a few days.

She also has a snack when she gets to school – cup of milk and a bowl of cereal, or whatever else they are serving for breakfast.

@mrbee: they are both up by 7. I do pretty simple breakfasts like scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, etc so it doesn't take long to prepare. They are done eating by around 7:40 I think? Then there's time to finish up homework and play before we get dressed. We're only a minute away from school so there's usually a lot of time to get everything done!
