For 3 year old, absolutely, he refuses to use a blanket and throws them out of his bed and when we don't put socks on, his poor little feet feel really cold to me in the morning. Come warmer weather I probably won't. She doesn't seem to care either way. She's 19 months. They definitely make footie pjs in this size- we just got more carters fleece and cotton in size 24 months.
