Because of that, I've given M (20 months) 1% when that's what's available. I figure it's only once in a while, so no big deal. But full time in daycare is a bit different - although I actually have no idea what type of milk they're serving her there. I assume WCM since they are working hard to improve their state recognition level, but I've actually never asked. Will have to discuss it with DH, but I'm leaning towards just doing 2% while at daycare since it's such a small percentage of her overall consumption. There have been a couple of times where she runs out and I have to go to the grocery store mid-week to pick up more milk for daycare. She has a sensitivity to milk that's not organic (huge red diaper rash.) It's expensive but worth it for us. LO is 13.5 months and her center provides milk but it's 2%. We can provide our own if we choose so we've been bringing in WCM, but it would be so convenient (and cheaper!) to just go with what they provide. She'd still get WCM at home for breakfast, dinner, and on the weekends. </p> <p>Would you go with what's provided (2%) or provide your own (whole)? </p>
