I think she was influenced by her friends at pre-school having princess birthday parties. She went from sometimes wearing dresses to only wearing dresses for a full year! But for daycare over the summer we did shorts under sun dresses (with sleeves, as per the rules, sigh), and over the winter we have done tights under skirts or dresses. I like to put her in dresses, because so far she doesn't object, but in the winter at daycare they must wear snow pants outside, and dresses are so awkward under snow pants. Then she started demanding pink and dresses. But she always has to wear leggings under her dresses, or tights at least.
