I never let things slide in the mornings. Thankfully our mornings are like a well-oiled machine and we pre-do things the night before as much as possible because we both know how much of a disaster mornings can be, especially because I'm not a morning person AT. ALL. Wagon Sr. has known this ever since before we were married. In fact, when we first got married I had to instruct him to not speak unless spoken to for a good hour after I woke up. He thought it was weird (he is very much a morning person and super chatty) but now he's used to it. If Wagon Sr. forgot to take out the trash and left the garage open and the front door unlocked I'd probably make him feel so bad about it he'd end up coming home early to make up for it. Haha. I'm horrible... but he knows it... This morning I woke up to some text messages from DH saying he had to take my car because his wouldn't start. (He's working locally today and tomorrow). No biggie. I'm trapped at home with the baby--all good. I went to level 1 to see if he took the trash cans out since it's trash day. He didn't. He also didn't lock the front door. And he left the garage door open!!!!! Is he trying to get us killed?!
