Reason for that is his work field. It's easier for me to leave (seeing I work in front of a computer) where as he's a nurse and well, patients need him. He has to work 80 hours every 2 weeks, but has practically unlimited freedom in when he does that, whereas I have a more traditional 9-5 schedule. Charlie prefers his mommy when he is sick though, so we have ended up splitting up the day more than we had planned. We don't have a system in place yet for when Charlie gets sick. I think we will play it by ear, based on who has the more urgent work plans for that particular day. When your LO is sick, who stays home and takes care of the LO?
