Following! My LO just turned 2 and naps 1.5 hours or less, usually only about 5 days per week.

She sleeps 8-8 overnight and naps 1:30-3. Sometimes she is still sleeping at 3 but we wake her up because if she naps longer she won't go to bed at 8.

My son is a really inconsistent napper, but he's always dropped naps early. We've had some phases of longer naps, but mostly not.

He turned two in April and he skips a nap about 2x a week right now. Usually though, that means he crashes on the weekend and naps for like 2.5 hours. I'm hoping to keep him napping daily through the summer, and then we'll see.

DS1 napped 1.5 hours on the button from 14 months until about 28 months. Then he started skipping naps some days and would make up for it the next, so often napped 2 hours. But he gave up his nap entirely at 34 months.

@princessandthebee: @Mrs. Champagne: @FaithFertility: Short naps are great, aren't they??? What time is bedtime and nap time for your LOs?
Mine goes to bed around 8-8:15, up 6:45-7ish. Nap around 1-1:15pm.

IDK but at 17 months 1.5 hrs is the norm, so this scares me....lol

DS1 never consolidated his two naps and has always napped 45 min- 1 hour since he went to one afternoon nap. it's awful especially now that I have a newborn. He's 22 months. I truly hope there is no correlation!!

My 4.5 year old would still like to nap, but after about 4 she was able to get through the day without it. She has pretty low sleep needs generally, but she does love that nap.

I said other because she will still nap at daycare but hasn't napped at home in a long long time. She's 3 and probably hasn't napped at home since she was 2. She was even worse than your LO though. She was a serial 30 minute napper.

At what age did they drop their one nap? Just curious if there's a correlation between short napping and dropping the nap early. LO's (23 months) one nap has never been terribly long, but lately the nap is even shorter, at about 1hr, 15min-1.5 hours (insert crying face here). I'll take a short nap over no nap, though, so I hope he's not going to drop it anytime soon!
