She knows it means there's blood coming out of my vagina but I'm not hurt. I haven't explained why it happens but told her that only girls get their periods. She knows what tampons are. She asked me if it hurts to put a tampon in. Ha. But regardless, LO is 18 mo and could not care less what is going on with me and the toilet. I use a Diva Cup, and she always looks inquisitively when I'm trying to take it out/put it back in. I am still working on my story, since she's only 19 months, but I tell her, "when you get bigger, blood comes out of your body once a month. It can be messy, but it's not scary.
