Mine did not cut her first tooth until close to 10.5 months old. She was pretty good at gumming everything! I just made sure anything I gave her was super soft and chopped up fine.

LO is 12 months & is just now cutting her first tooth. I worried about this for a while but she is really good at gumming things up so I basically give her finger foods like any other 1 year old!

Ds is 9 months and still no teeth. He eats everything. I don't really worry about much because their gag reflex is so far forward it makes it harder for them to choke. I just kinda watch. He has gagged himself maybe 6 times.

my daughter didn't get her first tooth until one year, but she ate everything. their gums are very strong. Now, at 16 months, she only has 4 teeth, and she continues to eat everything, including whole apples!

Good to know y'all, thanks! Purées are such a mess and my kids have always been way more interested in table food so that's the way is rather go!

LO didn't get any teeth until 11.5 months and he had no trouble with table foods. He had no interest in purees after he developed the pincer grip at 8 months. He ate fruit, bread, beans, cheese, steamed or roasted vegetables, soft meats.

LO didn't have teeth at 9 months but she still ate meat, fruits, veggies, whatever we gave her. We just cut things very small and cooked veggies thoroughly so she could gum.

@matador84: DS is 10.5 months old still no teeth, no signs of teeth. We have done BWL and he eats anything and everything, i make sure to cut it up in a way that he can gum it, he's actually learned to use his fingers in his mouth sort of like teeth. (hard to explain) we make no special meals for him he just eats what we do.

Mine has no teeth, but eats EVERYTHING. Chicken, pork, steak, all the veggies, rice, pasta... Just cut into tiny pieces. She's serious about gumming things!

What type of things did you feed them? DS had 7 by 9 months so he was all on table foods. I've given dd some diced fruits and veggies to gum but that's about it. I need new ideas for my toothless eater!
