Elmo is a very, very memorable character! I think they are still too young) but both knew who Elmo was at a very early age. It's a really easy thing to say and he's a very easy face to identify! It's just ambient-- band-aids, mylar balloons at the grocery store, clothing, books... Ellie knew all kinds of characters and never had any screen time (no tablet, no TV, no iPad, no smartphone, no computer-- nothing) until she was 3.5. It just is. I don't think it's bad, but it is sort of funny. Today I pulled out a shirt for our lo to wear and it had Elmo on the front (thanks, T-Mom!) She saw it and was SO excited to see "Elmo!!!" She said it, not me. So, I sent her to daycare in it and she pointed at her shirt for them and said "Elmo!!" </p> <p>How does my kid know who Elmo is!??! Daycare? </p>
