She can reach it just fine. I think that she/we wouldn't like it as much if it were smaller- 1) because it's like the one at preschool and 2) it would be more like a toy and she would be tempted to move it around herself. She's 26 months now and uses it daily- we gave it to her for her second birthday. Debating between the IKEA one (2 hour drive away) and ordering the Melissa & Doug one on amazon. I'm all about IKEA, but the M&D one looks nice and is adjustable so I'm not sure... Thanks for any opinions! :)
