Daycare makes her food. She has had skin reactions to egg and avocado and we've been advised to wait on milk, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, and peanuts. Pretty much everything got pushed out 6 months. Daycare asked me if salmon was fish so I don't think they are too educated about allergens. If she were anaphylactic we would be providing the food. But for her that happened before she was a year... so it wasn't a big deal. There is a child in E's class that is allergic to strawberries, so no one is allowed to have them. But if the child was allergic to say milk, I'm not sure how they would handle that.
