@Aria: My daughter had a fever Tues-Sat last week. Rash started on Sunday but didn't peak until Tuesday AM (a full week after the fever started). By Tuesday PM the rash was 95% gone. Her mood was much improved this AM (Wed).

Good luck!!! It was miserable.

I'm having a tough time remembering... I believe what happened was a fever for 3 days and then after the fever broke the was suddenly a terrible rash ... I believe that lasted 1.5 days till it looked way better like 75% gone but it took a few more days for the rash to complete disappear.

So it sounds about right with what your LO is going through.

I will say though the rash didn't seem to bother my kids, it just looked bad.

When did they start to feel better?

My daughter started with a fever on Friday, and the fever finally broke Monday evening, and she seemed to be feeling better. The rash appeared yesterday morning, and she screamed all morning long and slept most of the day when she wasn't crying. Then this morning, she has been so lethargic and irritable and won't eat solids at all, but I thought she would be feeling better now that the fever is gone. We have a follow up appointment tomorrow, but I'm trying to gauge if this is typical with roseola.
