At night rather than toss and turn my whole body (or maybe in addition) I'd move my head back and forth on the pillow. As long as her hair is combed and well conditioned the knots are fairly minimal. I always put my LO's hair into low ponytails but she yanks them out...lots of tangles in the morning! </p>
