My mom pulled out pictures of me at that age and we could have been twins. She was even born with these really cool blue-grey eyes which surprised us because we thought my husband's genes would trump but mine shone through! Now she is starting to look like her Dad with his nose but my light hair. The eyes are hard to tell. Sometimes they look like his and other times they look like mine. An unfamiliar person, in your example, mrs. Bee, wouldn't be able to distinguish Japanese from Korean (which are ethnicities in my understanding of race/ethnicity/nationality). I honestly don't know who the kids resemble. We hear different things, but I can't really see either of our faces in them. They are 1/2 Korean, 1/4 Japanese, 1/4 white and they definitely look Asian. But do they look more Korean? I think Charlie could pass for Korean or Japanese, but maybe Olive looks more Korean? I don't know! What about you?
