Oh and also when she is hangry.

Hangriness has caused a lot of strife in our lives.

My LO is super naughty when she is getting tired...She actually tries to get in trouble. She isn't whiney or anything like that. She just intentionally does things she knows she's not supposed to do and stares at us WHILE she is doing it, just waiting to get in trouble. She'll make eye contact with me and then reach out and touch the lamp shade , just testing me. What a little turd lol

2) My friend's little one only misbehaved when she was in need of sleep. She hated sleep for some reason and put it off as long as possible, but that meant she would be fussy and cranky for a few hours until she couldn't keep her eyes open anymore.

Being overwhelmed- with any emotion really! It's caused him to act out very uncharacteristically. We now intentionally choose low-stress/low-stimulating situations to avoid it.

Haha #4 made me laugh, so true!

LO's causes are usually: Hungry, tired, or I didn't let her do something he wanted to do. If I didn't let her turn the light on, push play on the dvd player, shut the door, turn the fan on, put her toothpaste on, etc etc etc. These are daily battles we have, but I've learned to just give in, step back, and let her do her thing. Unless of course I want a #4 incident.

Hahaah! I love #4

Usually because she wants something she's not allowed to have.

It's usually the same culprits! If we were playing Family Feud, these would be the winning answers:

1) Hungry/hangry
2) Overtired
3) Has to poop
4) Is possessed and no one knows why
5) Not sure what's causing the naughtiness, but pretty sure it's because I did something wrong as a parent.

If your LO is naughty, what are the usual causes?
