She knows if we are in there, we aren't playing, she is laying down and closing her eyes. She is usually asleep in 4-5 minutes. We read a book and then rock for a few minutes. Then he goes in his crib and I turn on his turtle and walk out. Tonight he didn't even want to rock! He wiggled out of my lap, went over to his crib and tried to climb in. Eta: once he is in a bed this could change.
