But when it does happen, I am sad all day and when I'm finally back to pick them up I run up the stairs. Then they usually ignore me or refuse to leave. Hah. I do think about him on the drive to work, though, and if it's really bad I call when I get to work just to check in. He's normally like "BYE!!!" But these days I feel really close to the kids and it hasn't been as easy. My kids were sad at dropoff this morning, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about them all day! OMG what's happening to me, I'm becoming a total softy!! If your LO is sad at dropoff, do you think about them the rest of the day?
