I think that our bodies try to self-regulate to the amount of sleep that we need, and it's pretty normal to need more sleep when you are under the weather. Like when they are sick I let them nap until 5:30pm at the latest. Mornings I just let them wake up when they wake up since they are both on one nap a day now. Hope your LO feels better soon. Winter sucks.. my boys have been sick left and right this past month. She woke up today earlier than normal but wanted to go back to sleep around 9:30am. She normally doesn't nap until 12:30pm but I figured extra rest will get her feeling better. When your LO is sick, do you let them sleep as much as they want, even if it throws their schedule way off?
