Blocks are her main "fun" present. But I also got her a sheet set , a plate/bowl set and new bibs. They weren't expensive and they were things she could use in the future.</p> <p>This year lo is 16 months and we got her 8 gifts for chanukah. They're all inexpensive because she doesn't know what a gift is.... when she gets older we'll do 7 inexpensive gifts and one nicer one. We had the first night of chanukah last night at my moms and she LOVED it. She got tons of gifts from family, one gift from us, and she unwrapped her gifts and played with her presents. I feel a tad bit guilty but it just doesn't seem like he'll even know and were waiting for the next few milestones to be able to get him some new toys (like a push/walk thingamajig). We kinda hope to keep Christmas simple in general with maybe 1 special toy, Xmas pjs and a book as our tradition every year. What are you ladies doing? </p>
